From dancers, writers, directors, musicians, to painters, Markham Getting Together is a group of high school students who are all artists in their own way. By establishing Markham Getting Together, this team has made it their pact to do whatever they can to inspire change and improvement for issues that we care about, both locally and globally.
MARKHAM'S GOT TALENT
ONE SONG AT A TIME
Markham's Got Talent is an annual fundraising talent show situated in the heart of Markham at the Unionville Bandstand. It gives singers, dancers, drama skits, beatboxers and various artists of all ages a chance to shine.
Over 500 spectators and supporters are attracted annually!
BATTLE OF THE BANDS
HELPING THE COMMUNITY
At Markham Getting Together, we are dedicated to supporting our local community through the arts. Recently, Markham Getting Together had a booth at the annual youth-organized Markham Expo as the coordinator of the Battle of the Bands. This was a competition between brave bands that showcase the creativity and passion of Markham’s youth.

INSPIRING THE COMMUNITY
Luminosity was a youth dance for students of York Region that was created with the purpose of providing young dancers with the opportunity to showcase their talents.
